Here are my best tips for getting ready for a backpacking adventure in Nicaragua. That does not have to mean "Nicaragua budget", but if you are traveling on the Gringo Trail that probably means a year of tight? – budget. Or maybe you're only interested in the best surf and sand?
I cover the Gringo Trail in Nicaragua from San Juan del Sur, Ometepe, Granada, Managua, Leon, Cerro Negro to the Corn Islands, including shelters, beaches, parties and the best hot spots.
This video is not intended to be a definitive travel guide for Nicaragua, or even an exhaustive list of Nicaragua backpacker routes or destinations. It's just my advice if you want to travel to Nicaragua based on my own experience. (That was part of a general adventure that includes Nicaragua, Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras, Guatemala and Belize – all Central America except El Salvador!)
If you are traveling or even vacationing in Central America or Latin America, let me know, I would love to hear from you! Send me a picture or a message.
